PZ - Newspaper Article

Before New Year's Eve, I'd like to show the article where my persona and my story was mentioned as part of Berit Mehle's project: "Mit gutem Beispiel voran". As a refugee, you have a lot to deal with in a new country, find yourself, start again, find and get job opportunities for the future. I told a lot about our coming and how I managed to find myself in a new country...well, I became an actor, musician, professional video producer and I am studying for a diploma in media design. After 10 years in Germany, I can give myself some titles and I am working on getting even more professional. Drink a cider for me, happy new year, cheers!



Vor Silvester möchte ich den Zeitungsartikel zeigen in dem meine Persönlichkeit und meine Geschichte geschrieben wurde als Teil Berit Mehle's Projekt: "Mit gutem Beispiel voran". Als Flüchtling muss man vieles neu aufbauen in einem neuen Land, sich selbst finden, neu anfangen, Job finden und bekommen um für die Zukunft aus zu sorgen. Ich erzählte viel darüber wie wir als Familie nach Deutschland kamen und wie ich es gemanaget habe in einem neuen Land und...nun ich bin ein Schauspieler, Musiker, professioneller Videoproduzent und studiere für ein Diplom in Mediendesign. Nach 10 Jahren darf ich mir ein paar Titel zuschreiben und ich arbeite immer noch daran noch professioneller zu werden. Trinkt einen Cider für mich, frohes neues Jahr, cheers!

Lately I had a photoshooting with MINEO, a great female photographer from Pirmasens with the craziest ideas I ever heard from a photographer. So, we did a "Godfather" shooting with me as the Italian Mafia guy who counts money, smokes cigars and ignores sexy women. JuKuWe Projects

Two big projects were finished at the JuKuWe, one is about migration social idols/examples, the other one is about refugees who come to Germany to continue their lives. I've also made cool animations in between the sequences for both movies and we had an interview with Irene Alt, the integration minister form this federation to get the political view for idols, also, my persona was interviewed as a succeeded integration idol for other people. Zwei große Projekte wurden fertig gemacht in der JuKuWe; zwei Filme, einer über Migrantenvorbilder und einen über Flüchtlinge, die nach Deutschland kommen um ihr Leben hier weiter zu führen. Ich machte auch coole Zwischenanimationen für die Filme und wir bekamen sogar einen Termin für ein Interview mit Irene Alt, der Integrationsministerin von Rheinland-Pfalz um die politische Meinung zu Migrantenvorbildern zu hören. I was talking a lot about our new short movie that we wanted to film and here it is, the first making of photo! As I am not allowed to tell anything about the plot, you can only see how the set looks like. We filmed with the Blackmagic Camera 4K and picked the sound with a rode-microphone and an H4.

Lately I made an imagevideo for our own product we are inventing, a system that's connected with the whole appartement with some special gadgets. The alarm wakes you up with a soft voice and salutes you with a good morning. After you have decided to wake up, because the voice tells you straight away what you will dismiss if you hit the snooze button, it reads you the calendar entries for that day. Either you go shower or brush your teeth too long, the pulsating light indicates that you need to hurry up a bit to fit your daily schedule. After your bath time, the coffee is automatically made and ready for you. Even the weather is read to you, so you won't be in the situation to go out in a t-shirt when it rains.

Letztens drehten wir ein Imagevideo für unser eigenes Produkt, welches wir gerade erfinden; ein System,welches mit der ganzen Wohnung vernetzt ist mit speziellen Features. Der Wecker weckt die Person mit einer sanften Stimme und begrüsst sie in den Tag. Falls die Schlummertaste gedrückt werden sollte, alarmiert der Wecker direkt was man an dem Tag verpassen könnte, so dass man nicht verschläft. Nachdem man aufgestanden ist, liest die Stimme alle Kalendereinträge vor für den Tag, Sollte man zu lange duschen oder Zähne putzen, signalisiert das pulsierende Licht, dass man sich beeilen sollte. Nach dem Bad steht der Kaffee automatisch trinkbereit und die Stimme liest abschliessend das Wetter vor, so dass man nicht mehr in die Situation gerät im T-Shirt im Regen zu stehen.

So, I was in Munich decades ago, I think in April, and I shot the episode for 'Schicksale'. I was the main role and like always, first the bad guy and afterwards the good guy. Well...another TV-episode, another reference, one step closer to Hollywood baby!

I was checking out the agency I worked with for these posters they've made for the eye-shop. Man, sometimes you just need to accept some garbage you have to do for money. I know there were many more better photos and they chose this one and added this over-exposure to confirm how bad a photo can actually be. But...as the slogan says: Stay cool and don't freak out, drink a coffee for me!

I was talking and showing photos from our short movie-rehearsals and today was the first shooting day that we had it was A-mazing! I will show you some behind the scenes-photos soon but here's an insider: this is our beer we will use in our coming movies! We are regular costumers at Richie's Irish Pub and my brother always orders a Whoop Whoop to drink, so we had to invent for Richie's sake a brand that we'll use in our movies; there are many other insiders so keep your eyes open for parking lots and other signs! That's the back story, stay tuned and remember: Drink a lot of coffee to stay productive!

"Live On Stage - As One" - SHOW

10 days ago there was this show, the SHOW of the year! There were 150 people live on stage - as ONE! Many groups participated like cheerleader combined with dancers, a DJ, a bunch of musicians from all genres, artists who were painting an artpiece for the next act who used the artpiece as their scenery and other stuff. Incredibly organised and the show just fascinated all of the 700 people!
It was incredible to be the host beside two incredible kids who had the courage to stand in front of 700 people with the spotlights melting our faces. I was co-hosting and I had the job to rehearse before the show and encourage them. To be honest, I was nervous too and the audience heard it cuz I said it straight ahead. Hahaha. Even after 10 days of other work that I had to do in the meantime, this show is still making me smile when I think of some special funny moments, especially with the hosts.
I hope they are now encouraged to do more of that stuff and I also learned something new, I'm totally rocking the stage. Should do this more often! Yeah! Don't forget the coffee folks!

Victor Giers - Laserharp

My good friend Victor Giers was planning to build a laser harp that's connected with a MIDI-controller, so that you can actually play an instrument with lasers. He was planning it, so I promised him, if he finishes the project anytime, I will make a video for him so that he can promote his project and hopefully achieve a lot with it...and that really happened! I have finished the video and you can find the video on his homepage. It is a cage and you have to be inside to play it, amazing and mystical at the same time! Can't remember when I saw such a cool thing live and I am still impressed! He finished the thing two or three weeks ago and that dude has already 3 concerts scheduled. I wish him the best and I am glad that I could help him, even a little with the video!

So...lately I've been working a lot, especially on the short movie we are about to shoot next week and we did some test shooting with the actress in the kitchen. Dark mood, gloomy atmosphere and other adjectives that I don't know how to use are the main characteristics to express the genre of this movie...so to say it quick, it will be a drama. PETER KAISER - Web Shop Shooting

Yesterday I was on tour with the photographer Yasmin Mineo for a web shop shooting of the PETER KAISER company. The shoe rotates 360° for 24 pictures, so the customer can see the whole of it online. Cant show the final shot, but hopefully it will be online soon. 

Oh, and drink a coffee for me, I bleached my teeth so I have to reduce my daily amount.

Yesterday, we had a rehearsal in a greenroom with our actor for our upcoming short movie we will make soon, a true DOUBLE H STYLE production. In the front you see the storyboard that my brother drew with all the camera operations we have discussed formerly. We have already checked our locations and we got our 4K-Black Magic ready for the shot. Are the actors ready?

Yes, they are! After the shots, we were discussing about the gestures and facial expressions of our main actor and we are completely happy that he accepted the role.

I can't tell anything about the story or our ideas but it will be a very dark and atmospheric short. Stay tuned and check out my blog every week for news!

PROJECT: Lead By Example

What up, people?

Since 2 months I am working on Berit Mehle's integration project: "Lead By Example" and we are almost at the finish line. On wednesday, we got an appointment scheduled with the integration minister from our federal state and after that, I just need to make some final editing, sound mixing and animations between the shots to make the final product look professional as hell!
You see on the picture above a poster with the "examples" for this project and I was also asked to be on that poster because I learned the German language with the help of cartoons and now, I am fully integrated. The picture below shows me, Achmet and Berit after the interview with Achmet. He's a good friend of mine and sadly, he lived the street life and even got into jail for 2,5 years. He told us, how his darker skin color and clothes affected people's opinions and how he was prejudiced, only with his appearance.

PROJECT: Mineo

I got to do an imagevideo for a great photographer from Pirmasens, she's called Mineo. The project easily expanded into logo design and I also made this catalogues and business cards for the next exhibition that she's preparing. Graffity - Media & Art Workshop

Hello humans!

I was working on the "Live On Stage - As One!"-Project with a lot of kids and we all did a great job today. There is going to be a large event organised of the whole team from the JuKuWe in november 22nd and this graffity wall will be the background for the intro of the 90minutes-show.
There were two groups of youths:
The juvenile group from the school Maria Rosenberg was spraying, the other one is from the Hugo-Ball-Gymnasium and they were filming the process of it. We did some great shots and we also made some special shots for the upcoming blogs and intro.

Topic: "Refugee" - Workshop

Today I was in a school and was holding a workshop about refugees with Lisa Hummel and Anna Schwab from the JuKuWe-team. I was talking about my own situation when we were escaping from Bosnia and came to Germany during the Yugoslawian civil war. First we were talking about the facts and difficulties and for me, it was very interesting how pupils turn their opinions when a concrete example stands in front of them. After that, Anna and me had an interview with a refugee consultant and we talked about the bureaucracy. More info:

ONE THIRTEEN PRODUCTION

Last week I was working on a logo for this production company. It has its origins in Munich and the company needed a logo for the upcoming short movie it has produced. I was writing with the owner and we got to the conclusion that it has to have a blueprint look and the animation is also made in this style. It will be soon a part of many posters, so keep your eyes focused on logos

Youth Culture Day

It's Friday and the beginning of a cheerful weekend for all kids in Pirmasens!

These are our two stands: on the left JUKUWE where kids can draw and play music, on the right JUGENDHAUS who were preparing a pretty cool flashmob with dancing, street painting and air bubbles!

Voluntary work for the flood victims in Bosnia & Herzegowina

First of all I'd like to thank my friend Nermin Kuldija, who took the initiative and sent this letter to my university as an excuse why I was absent when I was two weeks in Bosnia. I am happy to see, that there are still some people, who can be grateful and respect others' involvement. I am presenting and showing this letter to Everyone, so that humans start to get active and help others who really need it. I wasn't aware of the situation until I was there and could see it with my own eyes. Often, you get a letter like this and you can present it to scholarships or to your schools and universities. Don't be selfish, support and help!

ON TOUR

So...it's been a while since my last blog entry but here I am again. I got a rejection for the movie I did the eCasting for, but I hope there will be some more offers in future. I was in France for 10 days working, in RELAIS DES ETANGS, in the forest near Rhodes in a camp with youths. Also, I was in Holland for 12 days, working with a juvenile group with whom I was sailing for seven days and after that, I've spent my holidays there with my brother in Egmond aan Zee. I made some videos, so I will hopefully cut some stuff together and show you where I was and how it looked like!

FUCKING BERLIN - eCasting

So...it's a regular day, my teammate tells me about his new idea for a movie, I get a cup of coffee, look up my email inbox and BAM! I find an invitation for an eCasting. It's about a motion picture, that will be shot in september/october and I have the chance to be one of the lead characters in the movie....I hope I'll make my casting good and feed you with news when I am at the set!

Eye Shop - Shooting

What up, people?!

On tuesday, on July the 1st, I was in Karlsruhe because I had a shooting for an optician's shop. Me and another girl were models for this session and it was very funny and exciting. I couldn't do a lot because the photographers had a strict vision of their pictures so I just had to stand there and look cool, happy or smart. Indeed it was the first job I got from the internet agency modelscouting24 but it was good pocket money and I bought my girlfriend a present that I'll give her soon...

In my dream - University Project (Update)

Yeah!

So after 15 days of intense work (modelling, matte painting, animating etc.) I have finally finished my project and here's a snapshot of my short movie. It consists of a lot of experiments that I wanted to try like animating pictures and integrate them in the movie, compositing and matte painting and the 3D integration of the environment. I think it worked very well!

Imagevideo for ministry in Mainz/Germany

What a day!

Today was the first shooting day of the imagevideo for the integration ministry in Mainz/Germany. I'm really excited for the end version of the movie! I think it's gonna be october/november when it's officially online but I am already happy because the team I worked with (JuKuWe) was really great and also all the actors!
